Alto Pharmacy: a demand gen engine built from scratch, $2.2M in pipeline in 90 days

The short answer

We built Alto Pharmacy's demand generation infrastructure from zero: Google Ads, LinkedIn and Meta accounts, end-to-end UTM, pixel and event tracking, a custom HubSpot CRM with segmentation, lead scoring and workflows, and real-time dashboards. Within the first 90 days the engine contributed $2.2M in qualified pipeline and 3,500+ new leads, cut cost per lead 35% and improved lead-to-customer conversion 25%.

Key takeaways
  • Everything started from zero: ad accounts, tracking, CRM and reporting.
  • Tracking (UTMs, pixels, events) was built across every channel, so attribution covered the full funnel.
  • A custom HubSpot CRM handled segmentation, lead scoring and automated workflows.
  • $2.2M in qualified pipeline and 3,500+ leads in 90 days, at 35% lower cost per lead.
The problem

No engine to tune, so we built one

Alto Pharmacy needed demand generation that could produce qualified pipeline quickly, and there was no existing infrastructure to optimize: no structured ad accounts, no end-to-end tracking and no CRM set up for segmentation or scoring.

The risk in a from-scratch build is launching campaigns before measurement exists. The build covered all of it: account structure and tracking, the CRM and integrations, then campaigns and ongoing optimization.

  • F-01Ad platform accounts needed structure built for scale and performance.
  • F-02No end-to-end tracking across channels.
  • F-03No CRM configured for segmentation, scoring or automated nurture.

What to copy

How to build demand gen from zero without flying blind

1.

Track before you spend

The build put UTMs, conversion pixels and event tracking on every channel as part of the ad platform setup. That is why full-funnel attribution was in place within the first 90 days.

2.

Score in the CRM, not in your head

HubSpot lead scoring and segmentation decided who got nurtured and who went to sales, which lifted lead-to-customer conversion 25%.

3.

Review weekly, reallocate fast

Real-time dashboards plus regular reviews let spend move to what converted, which is where the 35% CPL reduction came from.
