01 · What you get

What’s the difference between buying HubSpot direct and through a partner?

Same software, same contract with HubSpot, same portal you own. The difference is the price conversation and who sets the system up.

02 · Why it costs nothing extra

Why doesn’t buying through a HubSpot partner cost more?

HubSpot runs a Solutions Partner program and rewards partners for bringing in and successfully onboarding customers. You don’t pay for that. It’s also why a partner can push for concessions a direct buyer usually can’t.

01

Platinum tier

Platinum is one of HubSpot’s upper Solutions Partner tiers, earned on the customer revenue a partner manages plus certification and customer-success requirements.

Status
02

Onboarding fee waived

HubSpot charges a one-time onboarding fee on most Professional and Enterprise hubs. When a partner is doing the implementation, we can often get it waived, so the money goes to a build instead of a call series.

The lever
03

Better pricing

We work the deal with HubSpot’s partner team before you sign. Concessions depend on hubs, seats, term and timing, and HubSpot approves them deal by deal. We won’t quote a discount percentage we can’t guarantee.

Case by case
03 · How purchase works

How do you buy HubSpot through JayOh?

Five steps, and most of the value is created before you sign. You never pay JayOh for the software.

1

Scope call (30 minutes)

Which hubs and tiers you actually need, seat counts, contacts, your current CRM, and whether Salesforce stays. We’ll tell you if Starter is enough.

2

We work the deal with HubSpot

JayOh is attached as your partner and asks HubSpot for pricing and onboarding-fee concessions.

3

You get the HubSpot quote

The subscription is between you and HubSpot, in your name, with whatever concessions were approved shown on the quote.

4

Sign and provision

Your portal is created or upgraded. You add JayOh as a partner user with the access you choose, and can remove it anytime.

5

Onboarding kicks off

Our pod runs the onboarding plan below as a fixed-scope implementation, then optionally stays on as your ongoing HubSpot team.

    06 · Who it’s for

Who should buy HubSpot through a partner instead of direct?

Anyone buying a Professional or Enterprise hub who wants it implemented properly. The fee you’d pay for generic onboarding is better spent on a build.

Buying HubSpot through a partner: common questions

Does buying HubSpot through a partner cost more?
No. The software is priced by HubSpot either way, and JayOh doesn’t add a markup to the subscription. Buying through a partner often lowers your year-one cost, because we can often get better pricing and the onboarding fee waived.
Can JayOh waive the HubSpot onboarding fee?
HubSpot makes the final call, but as a Platinum Partner doing the implementation, we can often get the required onboarding fee waived. At list, that fee is $3,000 for Marketing Hub Professional, $7,000 for Marketing Hub Enterprise, and $1,500 / $3,500 for Sales or Service Hub Professional / Enterprise.
Is there a HubSpot partner discount?
Partners can often secure better pricing than a direct buyer, but there’s no fixed public partner discount. It depends on hubs, seats, term length and timing, and HubSpot approves it deal by deal. We’ll show you what was approved on the HubSpot quote before you sign.
Who do I sign the contract with?
HubSpot. The subscription and portal are in your company’s name. JayOh is attached as your Solutions Partner, and our implementation work is a separate, fixed-scope agreement with us.
What does HubSpot Platinum Partner mean?
Platinum is one of the upper tiers in HubSpot’s Solutions Partner Program, earned on the customer revenue a partner manages and on certification and customer-success requirements. It’s a signal of HubSpot implementation volume and track record.
We already have HubSpot. Can you still help?
Yes. Talk to us before adding a hub or upgrading a tier, since that’s when onboarding fees and pricing are negotiated. For an existing portal we usually start with a HubSpot audit.
Do you work with Salesforce too?
Yes. Many of our clients run HubSpot alongside Salesforce. We design the sync, field mappings and inclusion rules, or migrate fully in either direction.
